The Tri-Cities Puentes Initiatives is proud to announce the 2021 Grand Haven Fiesta will take place in September. The week-long celebration will include food, music, entertainment and exhibitions to honor Hispanic Cultures from all over the world.
Events will begin September 19 and culminate with a day-long fiesta in Central Park in downtown Grand Haven.
Here are a few of the events happening that week:
Monday through Saturday – Restaurant Week. Tri Cities Restaurants will feature a Hispanic dish from a Spanish speaking country. To participate, contact bamaya@intricategrinding.com and select the country you’d like your restaurant to represent.
Thursday, September 23 – Community dinner experience, featuring pre-Hispanic food of Mexico prepared by Chef Oscar Moreno of MeXo, live mariachi and dancers. This dinner include food presented by Chef Oscar explaining its origin, flights of tequila, mariachi band, and dancers. This dinner is sure to take you back in time. Ticket information to come. Friday, September 24 – Tribute to Mana Band Concert at Lynne Sherwood Riverfront Stadium featuring. Tickets on sale on the website soon.
Saturday, September 25 – Fiesta in Central Park, Grand Haven
• Exhibition at the Grand Haven Community Center
• Entertainment featuring dance, performances, and live music by Latin Soul, Grupo Super Nova, DJ Money Mike, Son de Mexico, Karizma Band, Ballet Folklorico, and more.
• Youth and kids’ activities hosted by Latin Americans United for Progress (LAUP)
• Cantina and Food Trucks
• Car show
