Luly Del Real es una inmigrante mexicana, una verdadera guerrera y sobreviviente de cáncer, cuya fortaleza y coraje son un faro de inspiración para toda nuestra comunidad.
Es una mujer extraordinaria, un ejemplo de resiliencia y pasión, que ha dedicado su vida a preservar y promover el arte y la cultura mexicana. A través de su fundación, Casart Foundation, y también por medio de su programa de radio El Rinconcito del Arte, Luly impulsa el orgullo cultural y eleva nuestras raíces con cada una de sus acciones.
Con un amor profundo por sus raíces, Luly se enorgullece de sus bailarines, quienes, a su vez, sienten un gran orgullo por su identidad. Ella encuentra satisfacción en ver cómo la herencia cultural que representa está bien establecida y viva, transmitiéndose con fuerza a través de generaciones.
El arte que promueve no solo embellece, sino que transforma. Las diferentes disciplinas que se practican enriquecen la expresión cultural de los participantes, llevando sus mensajes y emociones más allá de las palabras. Luly observa con alegría cómo los jóvenes se expresan con seguridad, reflejo del poder de su cultura, su historia y su arte.
“Yo he visto cómo se han desarrollado muchos de mis jóvenes, y quería compartir que tenemos varios jóvenes con autismo, en distintos espectros, que también se están desarrollando de una manera tan satisfactoria que nos da mucha felicidad”, afirmó Luly Del Real.
Luly también compartió su valiente lucha contra el cáncer, una batalla que nos deja una gran lección de vida: la mente humana es capaz de superar incluso los desafíos más oscuros.
«El proceso fue todo menos fácil», confesó. «Pero aprendí que nuestras verdaderas limitaciones están en la mente. A pesar de un diagnóstico que anticipaba lo peor, decidí cambiar mi vida por completo.»
Con una voluntad inquebrantable y el apoyo incondicional de su familia, Luly transformó cada obstáculo en un peldaño hacia su recuperación. Hoy, inspira a muchas otras personas que también enfrentan esta dura enfermedad, siendo un símbolo de esperanza, fuerza y renovación.
Actualmente, Luly se enfoca en lo que más ama: su familia, el baile y su fundación, que muy pronto inaugurará oficialmente La Casa de la Cultura en Pontiac—un espacio que dará lugar a muchas personas que desean disfrutar del baile y del arte.

Luly Del Real: A Warrior of Life and Ambassador of Mexican Art

Luly Del Real is a Mexican immigrant, a true warrior and cancer survivor whose strength and courage serve as a beacon of inspiration for our entire community.
She is an extraordinary woman, a symbol of resilience and passion, who has dedicated her life to preserving and promoting Mexican art and culture. Through her foundation, Casart Foundation, and her radio program El Rinconcito del Arte, Luly proudly uplifts her cultural heritage and empowers our community with every initiative.
Deeply connected to her roots, Luly takes great pride in her dancers, who in turn feel a profound pride in their identity. She finds joy in seeing how the cultural heritage she represents is strong and alive, passed on powerfully from generation to generation.
The art she promotes not only beautifies—it transforms. The various disciplines practiced within her programs enrich participants’ cultural expression, allowing them to convey emotions and messages that sometimes go beyond words. Luly joyfully observes how young people express themselves with confidence—a true reflection of the strength and impact of their culture, history, and art.
“I’ve seen how many of our youth have grown,” Luly shared. “And I want to mention that we have several young people with autism, across various spectrums, who are also developing in such a positive way—it brings us so much happiness.”
Luly also shared her brave battle against cancer, a journey that teaches us a powerful life lesson: the human mind is capable of overcoming even the darkest challenges.
“The process was anything but easy,” she confessed. “But I learned that our real limitations live in our minds. Despite a diagnosis that predicted the worst, I chose to completely change my life.”
With unwavering determination and the unconditional support of her family, Luly turned every obstacle into a stepping stone toward recovery. Today, she inspires countless others facing similar challenges, standing as a symbol of hope, strength, and renewal.
Currently, Luly is focused on what she loves most—her family, dance, and her foundation, which will soon officially open La Casa de la Cultura in Pontiac—a new space that will welcome all those who wish to explore and enjoy dance and the arts.
