Holland, MI – The Holland Symphony Youth Orchestras, a program of the Holland Symphony Orchestra, announces their spring concert, Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 3 PM. The concert is going to be held at the Fellowship Reformed Church (2165 Lakewood Boulevard in Holland).
The Holland Symphony Youth Orchestras is the organization that includes the Holland Area Youth Orchestra, directed by Dr. Christopher Fashun, and the Holland Area Concert Strings and Holland Area Junior Strings, directed by Mr. Kyle Nester.
For 30 years, the Holland Area Youth Symphony has been providing extracurricular orchestral experience to students in the West Michigan area. Founded in 1988 by Holland Symphony Orchestra President & CEO and founder, Kay Walvoord, the organization has been educating young musicians in Holland and the greater West Michigan area, giving them opportunities to grow musically and work with some of the finest local musicians and conductors.
